Copyright / DMCA Policy

UIDMG LLC respects the intellectual-property rights of others and expects users of uidmg.com to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 ("DMCA"), 17 U.S.C. § 512, we will respond promptly to notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the DMCA and other applicable law.
1. Filing a Notice of Alleged Infringement
If you believe that material on the Site infringes a copyright you own or control, please send our Designated Copyright Agent a written notice containing all of the following (17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3)):
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf;
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (or a representative list, if multiple works);
- Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing and information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate it (URL, page title, timestamp);
- Contact information: full name, mailing address, telephone, and email;
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the owner.

3. Counter-Notification
If you believe your material was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may file a written counter-notification containing:
- Your physical or electronic signature;
- Identification of the material that was removed and the location where it appeared before removal;
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification;
- Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or the Central District of California if outside the United States), and that you will accept service from the person who filed the original notice.
Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, we may restore the material within 10–14 business days unless the original notifier files a court action.
4. Repeat Infringers
Consistent with 17 U.S.C. § 512(i), UIDMG will terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are repeat infringers.
5. Misrepresentations
Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or was removed by mistake, may be liable for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees. If you are not sure whether the material infringes your rights, please consult an attorney before submitting a notice.
