The Franklin Theatre’s monthly Songwriters Series took place last Thursday (Oct. 15) showcasing Black River Entertainment's songwriters.

Hosted by Music Row veteran Lisa Harless , the show brought together songwriters Doug Johnson, Josh Kerr and Dan Wilson , along with guest performances from two of the label’s rising artists, MaRynn Taylor and John Cooper Albright .

During the event the trio of songwriters, whose credits include cuts by Randy Travis, Keith Urban, Kelsea Ballerini, Morgan Wallen and for KING & COUNTRY, treated the audience to an intimate evening of hits and the stories behind them before Taylor and Albright each took the stage for acoustic sets.
