Powerhouse newcomer Avery Anna warmed up the crowd with “Blood Runs Thicker,” “Blame It On My Broken Heart,” “Indigo” and more.

With the crowd ready to go, Bryan made his way to stage with an immediate run of hits including “That’s My Kinda Night,” “Kiss Tomorrow Goodbye,” “This Is How We Roll” and “Huntin’, Fishin’, Lovin’ Every Day,” setting the tone for the rest of the night.

For the first surprise guest of the night, Bryan brought out his fellow American Idol judge Carrie Underwood to perform a cover of Diamond Rio’s “Meet In The Middle” and Bon Jovi’s “Livin’ On A Prayer.” Lionel Richie joined them via video message to announce that American Idol will return next spring for its 25th season.

Darius Rucker joined Bryan on stage next for “Wagon Wheel” and “Neon Moon.” Jason Aldean surprised the crowd with “Sunday In The South” and “The Only Way I Know.” Bryan asked Aldean to stay on stage for a spontaneous performance of “She’s Country.” Kane Brown took the stage for “Miles On It” and Dierks Bentley joined Bryan for “Drunk On A Plane.”

He continued his high-energy run with his recent single “Country and She Knows It” and “Love You, Miss You, Mean It.”

Bryan paused the set to thank fans after he received RIAA Diamond certifications for “Country Girl Shake It For Me” and “Play It Again” from his team ahead of the show. “It is a very blessed and surreal life I get to live. I moved to Nashville back in 2001 and started chasing this dream. A lot of great memories later I get to stand up here in front of you guys in Music City, USA. It is a dream come true to play music for a living, and you guys made that happen.”

He continued the show with an acoustic section, playing “Buy Dirt,” “Good Directions,” “Do I” and “Strip It Down.”

For the final surprise guest of the night, Bryan called Chris Stapleton to the stage for a duet on “Drink A Beer.” Stapleton wrote the song alongside Jim Beavers.

Bryan gave fans a taste of new music with “I Liked Loving You” and the new album’s title track, “Signs.” He took a moment to thank the writers, producers and team that helped him bring the album to life.

The energy stayed high as he moved through another run of fan-favorites including “What Makes You Country,” “Knockin’ Boots,” “One Margarita,” “Rain Is A Good Thing,” “Kick The Dust Up” and “Play It Again.” Fans continued to sing every word as he closed the set with “I Don’t Want This Night To End” before an encore of “Country Girl.”

Bryan continues his “ Word On The Street Tour ” tomorrow (Sept. 26) in Wisconsin.
